Advice From Your Personal Stylist

Hello, it is your personal stylist!

I am here to make sure you are on FLEEEEEEKKKKKK. Okay, so here is to all you 6 graders! First off, please do not dye your hair. Just don’t do it. I have learned from personal experience, even though you may want that highlighter hair you saw online, believe me, it will not look good. Even if you think it’s good, some day you’ll look back and see how ridiculous you really looked cause you had dye splotches on your head! If you want to do it, however, go to some sort of Vidal Sassoon salon and get it done right. Even then, you have to get your roots done, touch up the color, do hair treatments. It’s not a one step operation. Not all hair types are the same, not all dyes are going to show the same results, so, keep that in mind.

Staying on the topic of hair, experiment with hairstyles! Even if you think it does not look good, send a pic to your friend and go to school as if nothing happened. The only way to love your hair is to play around with! ( btw headbands pull back your hairline and cause premature balding.)

NOW let's go onto FASHION. Do not wear the same thing twp days in a row… Not only will it smell, but it will show that you only have 2 pairs of pants in your closet. #notcute. Change up your wardrobe based on the season. It just makes sense! Sweaters in fall, shorty shorts in the summer. One way to stay cozy in class without being too hot or cold is to Check The Weather. It may sound stupid, but if you have gym class and its 120 below and all you have is a cardigan. Hahaha, Told you so. Seriously, be prepared.

Along with this, keep up with trends, it’s not that hard. See what the cool kids are wearing and ask them where they get their stuff, even if they don’t give you a reply, at least you asked. Also, ( for all you ladies) it does not matter if you got curves or not, you feel me, it does not matter.

Love ya’ll <3 <3 <3
