Advice From Your Personal Stylist

Hey ya’ll, it’s me, your personal stylist!

Okay, here is for all you 7th graders that are reading my article.. Now, I don’t really know much about 7th graders, they are like the middle child of middle school, no one really knows what they are. You either look like an 8th grader or a 6th graders, no in between honey. In the case that you look like a 6th grader, try to mature your look, find a safe, go to look that can be pulled off in the time you have to get ready.

In the case that you look more like an 8th grader, you either look too mature, or you’re REALLY TALL. For you, you can keep your style if you want, mature looks better on most people. But, if you want to enjoy your youth while you have it, try finding prints and textures for a younger audience. Try not to drag your style from 6th grade onto 7th grade; the more you switch it up, the better and more confident you’ll feel. When you switch up your style, you allow your personality to breather, if you get what I’m saying.

Also, DO NOT wear the same outfit twice a week! Show that you have style by wearing different prints different days, even base them on how you feel that day!

Now let’s talk about hair. I DO NOT RECOMMEND dying your hair in 7th grade! If you do, read my new article about hair that will be coming out soon. *wink* When you dye your hair, you inevitably damage it. Weave does that too, I see you. The upkeep is a lot too. You have to dye your roots, touch up the color, make sure you are not so brassy that the school band asked you to join the group, AND… You have to pick an appropriate color for you! It’s a dang struggle, I’ll tell you that.

TTYL,
