Today
Today
If ever there were a summer day so perfect,
That you have to open all doors and windows,
And a bee flies in and stings you,
You run out the front door and step in dog poop,
You run down the hill and forget to tie your shoes,
So you fall and scrape your knees and you roll down the hill,
When you stop rolling,
A guy on top of his roof spills paint on you,
And you just say to yourself “Well, today is just that kind of day that you are late for work.”
